Santiago Sueiro is a Program Manager for the Savings & Financial Capability team at Prosperity Now. He has skills in program design, product implementation and learning facilitation. Santiago works with the Savings & Financial Capability team to improve delivery of financial capability services for low-income communities. Additionally, he focuses on financial technology and how fintech products can advance the goals of abused populations and communities.
Previously, Santiago worked for the La Ceiba Microfinance Institution in Honduras, where he served as the Program Director. He directed program operations, product design and organizational strategy. Santiago oversaw a program serving destitute communities in rural Honduras. He implemented a community-driven program model that allowed for the design of holistic and client-centered financial services. He worked with the community, funders and institutional stakeholders to set organizational strategy toward asset-building and poverty-alleviating interventions.
Santiago graduated from the University of Mary Washington, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Affairs.
